Launch your career in international affairs at the New Lines Institute with our Master of Arts in Strategy and Policy.

We are currently offering a full scholarship and a paid internship scheme as part of the program.

The program blends academic training in international affairs and hands-on policy research in a think tank environment. Our faculty of scholars and practitioners empower students to refine their analytical skills, craft policies, and master global communication strategies.

This immersive, 12-month fellowship program combines rigorous academic instruction with applied research and analysis in a policy setting. The program emphasizes simultaneous, integrated and practical field experience. Working directly alongside New Lines staff, fellows will participate in the design and implementation of analysis, publications, and outreach to policymakers.

As well as receiving guidance from experienced instructors and analytical staff with foreign and national security expertise who will advise them throughout the program, fellows will also have opportunities to publish their work directly with the New Lines Institute. This will allow them to create a portfolio of work to showcase to potential employers.

Nestled in the heart of Washington, D.C., our program offers more than just a postgraduate degree; it’s a journey that equips you with practical skills, analytical acumen, and a robust professional network. Our fellows will have ready access to and the ability to network with foreign policy and national security professionals, diplomats, policymakers, and thought leaders. Join the ranks of those shaping our future.
